Membership of the Rat Pack Racing Club costs just £20 to join followed by £20 per month, and we really believe that this is the best value owners’ group around!
The Rat Pack have been having runners around the northern tracks since late 2013, enjoying plenty of success with their highly progressive former point to pointer Auldthunder, who won four handicap chases during a three month period in the 2015/16 season.
We try to ensure that the Club has runners all year round, so why not come and join our friendly team for an amazing price!
As a member, you will receive the following benefits:
• An owner’s badge whenever one of your horses runs, which will give you access to owners and trainers facilities for the full day
• The opportunity to join us in the parade ring before and after your horses run. Here you will get to talk to the trainer, the jockey, and you will be the first to get the post-race reactions
• Stable visits
• A chance to see your horses exercising on the gallops
• Regular email updates
The Rat Pack Horses:
Knocknamona (IRE) 29 May 11 b g Trans Island - Faraday Lady (IRE) (Lord Americo)
A real credit to his connections, former point to pointer Knocknamona joined us in late 2016 and wasted little time in getting off the mark over hurdles once he went handicapping.
He went on to run up a fantastic treble in the space of just three weeks in the 2017/18 season, relishing the testing conditions at Uttoxeter, Leicester and Bangor-on-Dee to win three handicap chases under his regular jockey Alain Cawley.
He loves soft ground, two and a half miles is his trip and there should be plenty more to come from him yet!
Whostosay (IRE) 01 Jun 12 b g Witness Box (USA) - Black N Amber (IRE) (Alderbrook)
Another ex pointer, Whostosay joined us in 2017 and Rat Pack members will be able to follow his Rules career right from the start.
He's a young horse who'll take the same tried and trusted route as other Club horses Samtheman, Auldthunder and Knocknamona, starting off in novice hurdles before going handicapping but always with a view to making a good quality staying chaser.
We like him a lot and we're sure you will too!
