WE TAKE THREE TO MARKET RASEN ON WEDNESDAY.

The going at Market Rasen on Wednesday is currently good to soft at the time of writing, and we have three representatives contesting two events.

Ballycrystal, and Burdigala, go head to head, and also face another seven opponents in the 0-105 extended two miles and two furlongs handicap hurdle at 2.20.pm. Ballycrstal who will be partnered by Billy Garritty is not the 130 rated horse he once was, but in two of his last three starts has suggested that there is another win in him.He was a good second at Sedgefield last September, but never got involved at Market Rasen in November. His one start since was a solid third in a jumpers bumper at Newcastle in February, he will run from a mark of 96.

Burdigala will be partnered by Alain Cawley, and any further drying out of the ground will be a bonus. He arrived from France in November 2018, after finishing second over fences at Guingamp. He has had a lot of injury problems, and therefore has only raced on eight occasions for us to date, all over hurdles. His mark has plummeted, but he is yet to get competitive.

High Noon became Micky's first ever runner at Fontwell, when finishing a good fourth in a better event than this 24 days ago.He was a decisive winner from a 8lb lower mark at Musselburgh in January of last year, and was second on his other two starts before lock down in March. He will contest the 0-105 two miles and five furlongs handicap chase at 4.35.pm, with Billy Garritty retaining the ride.
