Shadowfax Of Rohan has raced in three bumpers to date, the first two for another yard, and has shown promise on each occasion reaching a place. He made his yard debut for us when finishing fourth, when last seen at Perth 12 weeks ago, and will now make his hurdles debut at 2.10.pm, in the maiden hurdle, over two and a half miles, with Brian Hughes on board for the first time.
Fainche returns from a 209 day break when going to post for the 0-100 handicap hurdle, over two miles and seven furlongs at 3.55.pm, where she will be partnered by Brian Hughes, who was on board when the combination finished third on her penultimate start at Wetherby back in March. Fainche can boast form figures of '3232' from her last four starts, proving very consistent in her first season with us since arriving from Ireland. She would probably appreciate any softening of the ground.
