WE ARE RACING FLAT & JUMPS ON SUNDAY.

We send two to Market Rasen for their jumps meeting, on what is currently described as good ground, and two to Southwell for their all weather meeting on the Tapeta surface.

At Southwell the veteran Irv who is now nine years old and has raced for us since his two year old days, makes a return to action at 2.42.pm, in division 1 of the 0-55 handicap, over one mile and three furlongs, where he will once again be partnered by Aiden Brookes. This trip is probably as far as Irv would want to go, and he has been unlucky with drawing stall 12. He won first time out last season at Wolverhampton after a break from 2lb lower than now, and if he gets his required strongly run race he could be in the shake up.

Ring Fenced also makes her seasonal debut in division 2 of the 0-55 handicap at 3.17.pm, where Aiden Brookes who has ridden her on all 12 starts for us, retains the ride. Ring Fenced has struggled for form since arriving at the yard in the autumn of 2023, which has seen her mark drop from 74 to 49. Obviously if the break has done her good, and she finds her old form in first time blinkers, she is a very well handicapped horse.

At Market Rasen, Livano Bello will make his handicap debut in a first time tongue tie at 4.20.pm, in the 0-105 handicap hurdle, over the extended two miles and two furlongs, with Brian Hughes retaining the ride. Livano Bello was third at Auteuil for his previous yard last September, before having three runs in novice hurdle company for us between December to March, and has been given an opening mark of 98.

Getaway Jewel who is now 11 years old returns from a four months break at 4.45.pm, in the 0-100 handicap chase, over two miles and one furlong, where he will once again be partnered by Brian Hughes. Getaway Jewel is very much ground dependant, as he has always preferred a sound surface, and if he gets it, then his current handicap mark could be very attractive.
