We send two to Kelso on Friday, where the going at the time of writing is soft, good to soft in places.
Foster'sisland is yet to fully fire this season in five runs, which has seen his mark drop below 120 for the first time since December 2021. He now tries a new trip, having never raced over this far before, as he drops into Class 4 company for the first time this season. Foster'sisland goes to post for the 1.50.pm, for the 0-120 conditional jockeys handicap hurdle, over the extended two miles and six furlongs, with Joshua Thompson on board for only a second time.
Seeyainthesuninn makes his hurdles debut at 2.20.pm, in the novices hurdle over two miles, where he will be partnered by Brian Hughes, who will be on board him for the first time. To date Seeyainthesuninn has run in three bumpers in May, October, and December of last year, with his debut run at Sedgefield being the standout, when he was only beaten by eight and a half lengths. Seeyainthesuninn is a well related horse with two of his siblings rated above the 120 mark.
