We send two to Redcar on Wednesday, where the going at the time of writing is good.
Piecederesistance is first up at 3.55.pm, in division 1 of the 0-78 handicap, over 10 furlongs, with Billy Garritty who has won on him previously, back in the saddle. Piecederesistance continues to knock on the door, and came within a neck of turning over the 4/9 favourite at Newmarket when last seen 33 days ago. The hood he wore that day, and in also three of his four previous runs is now discarded.
The ultra consistent Anjo Bonita makes a very welcome return for the yard in division 2 of the 0-78 handicap at 4.32.pm, with Billy Garritty, who has ridden her on nine previous occasion, and winning once on her, back in the saddle. Anjo Bonita finished placed on eight occasions in hot maidens as a two and three year old before getting a much deserved success at York just over a year ago. In two starts back in the spring she failed to get competitive, but after a break over the summer, we hope to see the old Anjo Bonita back to her best.
