MICKY HAMMOND RACING.
TWO RUNNERS ON SATURDAY.
We have two declared for Redcar on Saturday, where the going is currently described as good to firm, good in places.
Both of our runners will go head to head with eight others at 5.30.pm, in the 0-62 apprentice handicap, over one mile and six furlongs.
Odd Venture who will be partnered by Ben Sanderson is the winner of two races to date, one for his previous yard when trained in Ireland, and the other for us in July of last year. He was last seen at Catterick in April, after coming off a four months break, when running a respectable sixth. He will find conditions in his favour here, and if producing his best form he will be in the shake up.
We are also represented in the race by Storm Spirit who will be partnered by our stable apprentice jockey Aiden Brookes. She has already shown good form in a couple of bumpers, but has failed to fire in two handicaps on the flat, but she may find this drop down in distance more to her liking, from a reduced handicap mark.
