TWO RUNNERS AT WOLVERHAMPTON ON MONDAY.

Because Dragons Will Rise never wins by further than he has to, the handicapper can't have his wicked way, hence this winner of three of his last five starts has only gone up 8lb. On his last run 79 days ago things didn't pan out, as he had to make his challenge on the final bend into the straight, causing him to have to race wide, but he still stayed on in to third. He once again runs from the same mark of 57, over the extended nine furlongs at 4.20.pm, with his regular rider Robert Havlin retaining the ride.

Our other representative is the four year old filly Just Jean, who makes her first visit to Dunstall Park when contesting the 7.50.pm, a 0-50 classified event over 12 furlongs. She has been a frustrating type, as we know the ability is there for her to win a race, but up until her most recent run at Newcastle 32 days ago she had failed to get competitive this season. Her latest effort when third was her best for a while, and if in the same mood again, could give our stable conditional Aiden Brookes a night to remember.

Good luck to the connections, The Golden Cuckoo, and Mr and Mrs Paul Chapman.
