TWO ENTRIES AT THIRSK ON MONDAY.

We have declared two runners for Thirsk on Monday, where the going is currently described as Good to firm, good in places, and they are watering to maintain.

Sparkle In His Eye was the winner of four races last season, and showed on his return at Thirsk 16 days ago that he is still as good as ever, when going down by just two lengths, following a nine months break. He is now eased a 1lb, but still remains 2lb above his last winning mark. He goes to post for the 3.30.pm, a 0-70 handicap over a mile. with his regular jockey Aiden Brookes in the saddle.

The Resdev Way will have his 102nd start at 5.0.pm, when he takes up his engagement in the 0-60 handicap over 12 furlongs, with Franny Norton becoming the latest in a very long list of jockeys to have been lucky enough to have ridden him. At 10 years old The Resdev Way isn't getting any quicker, and he may find things happening too quickly for him over this trip, although he has won and been placed over this distance in the last two seasons, and he can now race from a mark of just 46.

Good luck to the connections, Oakwood Racing, Mrs Gemma Hogg, Oakwood Rainbow, Phil Ellerby, and Anthony Bithell.

Good luck to the connections, Samuel Sutton, and Resdev.
