Trac is now the winner of six races since arriving from France in the summer of 2021, when easing to a four and a half lengths success under Conor O'Farrell at Newcastle on Saturday afternoon.
On his 19th start for us, and his 33rd start overall, it is possible that Trac has run a new personal best. He was dropping down in distance to two miles for the first time since January 2022, and was also winning at that distance for the first time. Everything changed at the fourth last when the horse in front made a bad mistake and hampered the eventual runner up. At that point Trac looked to be outpaced, but following that incident he immediately rallied and went clear before the last with the minimum of fuss.
Trac is every owners dream horse, in that he is now the winner of six of his last 14 starts.
