Trac is fast becoming a yard favourite, as he has now won five of his last 11 starts for us since arriving from France in the autumn of 2021, and all this from a horse who has never been rated above 100 over jumps, as yet.
Trac was winning the first at Catterick on Wednesday afternoon in the hands of Emma Smith-Chaston, who also rode a double at Sedgefield on Boxing Day. Trac appeared to have a favourites chance on the form, and he didn't disappoint. At very nearly seven years old Trac confirmed that he is still on an upward curve, as in this corresponding race last year, he was beaten in to second place from a 15lb lower mark than now.
