THURSDAY'S CHILD CAN CONTINUE HER PROGRESS.

We have two runners on the Tapeta surface at Southwell on Tuesday, which is currently riding as standard.

Dragons Will Rise was one of our stable stars in his younger days, winning on eight occasions, which saw his mark rise from 48 to 80 during his golden period. Following injury, which saw him away from the track for nearly 21 months, he has raced a further eight times, all on the all weather, but is yet to repeat his past fetes, which has seen his mark fall to a current rating of 54. Dragons Will Rise goes to post for the 0-58 handicap at 5.30.pm, over a mile, with his regular rider Aiden Brookes in the saddle.

Thursday's Child was the winner of her first two starts (one on the all weather) back in March and April, before running a cracker at the York Dante meeting to finish fourth. She wasn't at her best on her next two starts, but bounced back with vengeance to finish a staying on second at Carlisle just under seven weeks ago when last seen. She has been raised 2lb for that run, on what will be only her seventh start. Thursday's Child runs at 7.30.pm, in the 0-85 handicap, over six furlongs, with Billy Garritty, who has won on her twice, back in the saddle.
