Thursday's Child made a winning debut at Newcastle on Friday evening in the hands of Billy Garritty, who after taking up the running just over one out, was always holding on well, from some similarly inexperienced three year old fillies, to win by a neck.
Thursday's Child is very well bred, being by the dual Group 1 winning sprinter Harry Angel, out of a mare who won three of her nine starts up to 10 furlongs, including her final race off a BHA mark of 77.
Thursday's Child has far to go, but she is definitely on the right track.
