THE RESDEV WAY OUR FIRST RUNNER ON THE NEW SOUTHWELL SURFACE.

On Friday Southwell race on their new Tapeta surface for just the fourth time, and we send down The Resdev Way to the track, who will be our first runner their on the flat since the removal of the old sand track.

The Resdev Way will contest the 3.50.pm, a 0-60 handicap over the extended two miles with P J McDonald retaining the ride. This will be The Resdev Way's fourth start since his summer break, he finished a respectable third at Pontefract back in October, but after finishing last at Catterick 22 days later he was found to have an irregular heartbeat by the vet. He was back on track at Wolverhampton last time when finishing well over an inadequate one mile and six furlongs from the same mark of 58 as now. There is no reason to think that The Resdev won't act on the new surface as he has shown winning form at Southwell, Newcastle, and Wolverhampton on six occasions so far in his 77 race career to date.

Good luck to the connections, Resdev.
