The Resdev Way will have his 99th start under rules at Newcastle on Wednesday afternoon when he contests the 1.35.pm, a 0-55 handicap over 12 furlongs, with Aiden Brookes in the saddle, on the Tapeta surface, which at the time of writing is riding standard.
The Resdev Way who will be wearing cheek pieces for the first time has been a shade below form in all four starts since returning from his summer break back in November. All those runs were over further than this, but a stiff 12 furlongs is fine as long as there is a fast pace.
