THE PROGRESSIVE TRAC BACK ON THE TRACK.

We send one up to Kelso on Saturday morning, where the going is currently described as good to soft, and they are watering to maintain.

It's a very early start on Saturday, when Trac goes to post for the second race on the card at 11.38.pm, the 0-115 two miles and one furlong handicap chase, with Craig Nicol on board for the first time.

Trac has been prolific for the yard winning on seven occasions since arriving from France in the Autumn of 2021. He won his first race for us off a mark of 78, and he now starts his new season from 115. This race is a qualifier for the prestigious 'Go North One Man Series,' the final of which Trac won last season on heavy ground. Trac was much improved on any form he had shown previously on his last two starts last season in March and April, the handicapper has taken note, but I wouldn't bet against further progress from Trac again this term.
