THE NEW JUMP SEASON IS NOW UPON US.

The nights continue to draw in, and the going is soft, (at the time of writing) and Hexham stage a National Hunt meeting, where we have two representatives.

Milajess will make her stable debut for us at 2.0.pm, in the mares only 0-110 handicap hurdle, over two and a half miles, with the champion jockey Brian Hughes booked to ride. Milajess has had 11 previous runs in Ireland, including two bumpers, and nine runs over hurdles, with her best run coming at Clonmel in May in a maiden hurdle, where she finished runner up. She starts out for us from a mark of 100.

A Cheap Thrill is also ex Irish, and he has now had three starts for us since arriving at the yard back in July. He is yet to make the frame, but has finished fourth twice, including on his second start for us at Cartmel in July. His mark continues to fall, and he will face six rivals at 4,55.pm, in the 0-105 handicap chase, over two and a half miles, with Sean Quinlan who has ridden him before, taking the ride.
