If Carlisle gets the go ahead for Sunday, then a preview of our two declared runners there will appear here later. In the meantime there should be no problems on the all weather at Southwell, where a last minute jumpers bumpers card has been added.
Storm Spirit has ran twice to date, she made her debut in a bumper at Newcastle in February when finishing an excellent third, which was later promoted to second, after the runner up was disqualified for a breach of whip rules. Her only other start was on the turf at Wetherby in March, again in bumper company, but this time she raced too freely, and had nothing left at the business end. This race is full of similar types to her, who are lightly raced and should progress, and this is a good place to get her going, for her second season of racing. The race is at 12.40.pm, over two miles, with Aiden Brookes who holds a dual licence, taking the ride.
