STORM SPIRIT TO MAKE HER DEBUT.

Hope always springs eternal when you have a runner making their racecourse debut, but of course there is also an equal amount of intrepidation to balance things out.

The four year old filly Storm Spirit will make her debut at Newcastle on Saturday at 1.10.pm, on the Tapeta, in a mares only bumper over the extended two miles, with Billy Garritty taking the ride.

Storm Spirit is the third offspring of her dam to see a racecourse, and she has a full sister who placed third on two occasions from her 13 starts. Storm Spirit's sire is the dual purpose stallion Passing Glance, whose record is very good as a National Hunt sire, considering he was a high class performer over a mile.
