We have one runner on Wednesday at Nottingham, where the going is currently described as good, good to firm in places.
Due to a series of below par efforts of late, Sparkle In His Eye has now become a very attractively weighted proposition, being 6lb below his last winning mark, from August of last year. He has now had a 10 weeks break since finishing last on the all weather at Newcastle, and will find the conditions to his liking here.
Sparkle In His Eye will go to post for the 0-55 hands and heels apprentice handicap, over a mile, at 2.27.pm, with Alex Fielding having his first ride for the yard.
