We have one declared runner on the third and final day of the Perth Festival on Friday, where the going is currently riding as good to soft.
Shighness has taken her time to hit full stride this season, but returned to her best at Hexham over the marathon four miles just under six weeks ago, when keeping on well to finish second, for which she has been nudged up 2lb. Shighness who is already the winner of five of her 23 career starts, appeared to be perked up by the first time blinkers that day, which are retained here. She runs at 2.05.pm, in the 0-125 £30,000 Quinnbet Highland National, over the extended three miles and six furlongs, with Brian Hughes who has won on her on two previous occasions back in the saddle.
