Polisud did what the racing pundits are always telling us can happen, and won on his second start after wind surgery, when after going clear from three out, only had to be kept up to his work, to win by two and a half lengths, under Emma Smith-Chaston, at Newcastle on Tuesday afternoon.
Polisud was racing from 23lb below his opening British BHA mark of 116, so even when reassessed he will still look well handicapped.
