PIECEDERESISTANCE ALL SET TO TRY TO GO ONE BETTER.

Since arriving from France last autumn Piecederesistance has ran two lacklustre runs over hurdles, but following a four months break he returned at Pontefract five weeks ago where we saw a much more promising effort on the flat when he finished runner up over the same trip of 10 furlongs as now. He was over keen that day, and should settle better now with that race under his belt, and the handicapper has left him on the same mark of 85. The race is a 0-85 handicap, with Billy Garritty retaining the ride.

We also run Profiles Mix who goes to post for the 4.40.pm, in a maiden stakes over the mile, where he will have the assistance of Paul Mulrennan on board, Profiles Mix has shown very little to date in three bumper runs, but has let his temperament get the better of him on each occasion, and we will see more once he grows up mentally. This race should benefit his education considerably, and we will see where we are with him after it.
