ONE RUNNER AT YORK'S SEASON FINALE.

The going for York's final meeting of their 2022 season is currently described as good, good to soft in places.

We run the two year old filly Anjo Bonita in the maiden at 3.50.pm, over the extended seven furlongs, with Billy Garritty who has been on board on all of her four previous starts retaining the ride.

Anjo Bonita has been very game and consistent in all of her races to date. After finishing a promising sixth on her debut at York back in July she has since gone on to finish third, and then second at Thirsk, before another excellent second at Beverley when last seen 24 days ago. She has been given a BHA mark of 76 which shouldn't be good enough to win a York maiden, but none of her 13 opponents have raced more than once, with seven of them making their racecourse debuts.

The race is probably full of future quality performers, bur Anjo Bonita certainly has the edge in experience.
