ODD VENTURE GOING FOR BACK TO BACK WINS.

We send two on the short trip to Catterick on Monday, where the going at the time of writing is soft, good to soft in places.

Odd Venture was a comfortable winner at Musselburgh in a 0-50 Classified Stakes when last seen 27 days ago. For that success he has been raised 7lb, but he is clearly in good heart at the moment, and will have no problem on a softer surface. He runs at 2.25.pm, in the 0-70 Amateur Jockeys handicap over 12 furlongs, with Becky Smith on board for the first time.

Patasola makes a quick return just four days after finishing sixth at Beverley over their extended seven furlongs a trip she may not have fully seen out. She goes to post for the 0-60 nursery handicap at 3.0.pm, over six furlongs, with Aiden Brookes retaining the ride. The form she has shown on a softer surface matches the best of the rest of her form, and whether stall 11 is good or bad, is an unknown at the moment.
