We have two runners on Thursday at Doncaster, where the going at the time of writing is good.
Miltown Lily is first up at 2.35.pm, in Division 1 of the 0-65 Amateur Jockeys handicap, over the extended one mile and six furlongs, where she will be partnered by Becky Smith. Miltown Lily was seen at her best when finishing runner up at Carlisle 11 months ago, but she has failed to back that up in her five subsequent starts, including two runs over hurdles. This will be a big step up in trip for the first time on the flat for Miltown Lily, and we will see if it has the desired effect.
Myboymax takes his chance in Division 2 of the 0-65 Amateur Jockeys handicap, where he will also be partnered by Becky Smith. Myboymax has been a prolific servant for the yard winning on five occasions, but in recent runs he has only hinted at past glories. He ran his best race in a while last time at Hamilton under Becky Smith, when finishing second in first time blinkers, and if they work as well again, he will be bang there.
Good luck to the connections, Maybe The Last Time, and Anthony Bithell.
Miltown Lily.
