MISTER BELLS LOOKING FOR A REPEAT.

We have three runners at Catterick on Wednesday, on what is currently described as good to soft, good in places ground.

Mister Bells was an easy winner of this corresponding race last season from the same mark as now, and will attempt to defend his crown at 1.08.pm, in the 0-120 conditional jockeys veterans handicap chase, over three miles and one furlong, where once again he will be partnered by Emma Smith-Chaston. Mister Bells has failed to fire in two starts this term, but he also came in to the race last season having failed to get competitive in his first four starts.

You Say Its Over missed her intended engagement at Newcastle last week because of the faster ground, so any rain between now and race time would be appreciated. Her best form has come on soft and heavy going, including when finishing runner up at this track just over a year ago from a 4lb higher mark than now. You Say Its Over who has been placed in two Irish point to points, will make her rules debut over fences, when she goes to post for the 0-100 novices handicap chase, over two miles and three furlongs at 3.08.pm, with Conor O'Farrell who has ridden her three times previously back in the saddle.

Belle Na Bann was the best of the rest when finishing a 14 lengths second to an easy winner over this course and distance three weeks ago, from the same mark as now. That was her third start of the season and a definite return to somewhere near her best. This race has more strength in depth, but she is on the same mark as when she won over course and distance on New Years Day 2024. Belle Na Bann runs at 3.38.pm, in the 0-100 handicap hurdle, over the extended one mile and seven furlongs, with Josh Thompson retaining the ride.
