We have one runner on Wednesday at Catterick, where the going at the time of writing is good to soft, soft in places.
Milltown Lily is a very consistent mare, nearly always appearing to run her race, but always coming up just a little bit short. On the flat she has never run further than 12 furlongs, so this step up by nearly four furlongs is an unknown. She has no placed form on a soft surface, so she wouldn't want it to get too wet underfoot, although she was a staying on fourth at Catterick over 12 furlongs on good to soft ground back in July. Milltown Lily will run in the 0-55 handicap at 4.20.pm, over the extended one mile and seven furlongs, with Aiden Brookes taking the ride.
