We have one runner on Wednesday at Carlisle where the going is currently described as good, good to firm in places.
If any horse deserves to get her head in front, then it's Milltown Lily who rarely fails to run up to her best of her ability. Her optimum trip is middle distances, and she acts on a variety of surfaces, so this stiff one mile and three furlongs will not present a problem. She runs at 2.05.pm, in the 0-60 novice amateur jockeys handicap, for riders who have not ridden more than three winners at the start of the season. She will be partnered by Jack Lander, who was also on board when the pair finished fourth at Catterick on her penultimate start back in July.
