We have two runners at Uttoxeter on Wednesday, where the going is currently described as good.
Milajess ran a new personnel best for the yard at Uttoxeter nearly six weeks ago, when finishing an excellent second from 1lb lower mark than now. She will be wearing blinkers for the first time here, which replace the visor, when she goes to post for the 0-95 novices handicap hurdle, over the extended one mile and seven furlongs, at 3.10.pm, with Brian Hughes taking the ride.
Grand Du Nord runs at 3.40.pm, in the 0-100 novices handicap chase, over three miles and two furlongs, with Sean Bowen on board for the first time. This will be Grand Du Nord's third start over fences, having failed to get competitive in either of those first two races to date, but on the best of his hurdles form, and on his bumper win, he finds himself a very well handicapped horse.
