MEDIEVAL GOLD WILL BE AT HOME ON THE GROUND.

We have one runner at Haydock on Saturday, on what is currently described as soft, heavy in places.

Medieval Gold arrived at the yard last autumn having had six runs on the flat for his previous yard, running his best race on his final start when finishing runner up from a mark of 68. He has taken well to hurdles, having run twice for us, finishing second on debut at Market Rasen, and then winning well at Perth in May, for which he has been allotted a mark of 108, which looks good considering he has probably already surpassed his flat form.

Medieval Gold who is entitled to need this first run back since May, goes to post for the 0-120 conditional jockeys handicap hurdle, over a trip just short of two miles and three furlongs, with Emma Smith-Chaston, who has ridden on both runs last term, retaining the ride.

Good luck to the connections, Robin Hood & Little John.

Winning connections at Perth.
