MEDIEVAL GOLD OUR ONE REPRESENTATIVE ON SATURDAY.

enquiries0700

We send one runner up to Ayr on Saturday, where the going is currently described as soft.

Medieval Gold is a lightly raced five year old, who prior to joining us last autumn had six starts on the flat for his previous trainer William Haggis, finishing runner up twice, and receiving a best BHA mark of 68. He got off the mark for us over hurdles on his second start last May at Perth, and was handed a rating of 108, which he then ran off in December on his seasonal debut, when finishing third over three furlongs further than now. Judged on his flat and hurdles form his mark looks a competitive one, and the ground will hold no worries.

Medieval Gold runs at 3.25.pm, in the 0-120 handicap hurdle over two miles with his regular rider Emma Smith-Chaston taking the ride.
