Medieval Gold was having his second start for us since arriving at the yard, having had six previous runs on the flat, is a maiden no more, after staying on gamely under Emma Smith-Chaston, to win by one length at Perth on Thursday afternoon.
Although he was winning for the first time he had been runner up twice on the flat for his previous yard, and had also finished a very promising second at Market Rasen on his hurdles debut for us. It looks like there is plenty more to come.
