We have one runner at Doncaster on Friday, where the going is currently described as soft.
Mandarb is an ex French three year old gelding who has only had seven starts to date, and will be very much at home on the predicted going. He raced twice on the all weather at Deauville as a two year old last December finishing in midfield on both occasions, before making a winning start at three in March at a lower level at Le Mans. His next three runs were all in handicap company, where although not getting involved at the business end, he wasn't too far away. He was dropped into a claimer on his latest start at Deauville in August, over the extended 12 furlongs, where he was a decisive three parts of a length winner at 7/2.
Mandarb starts out for us, after recently being gelded, at 5.25.pm, in the 0-75 handicap, over 10 furlongs, with Aiden Brookes taking the ride.
