LIVANO BELLO TO MAKE YARD DEBUT.

We have two declared runners at Wetherby on Friday, where the going is currently described as good to soft, good in places.

Royle Steel has always shown a preference for a sounder surface, and he will feel at home on this ground. He returned from a five month break at Sedgefield in November, when lack of a run saw him fade into fifth. Royle Steel is a winner for us over both hurdles and fences, but has never raced beyond two miles and five furlongs, so we will see if he gets the trip. He runs at 11.55.am, in the 0-100 conditional jockeys handicap hurdle, over three miles, with Josh Thompson, who can claim 8lb, on board for the first time.

The very exciting Livano Bello makes his British and yard debut at 2.15.pm, in the juvenile hurdle over two miles, with Danny McMenamin taking the ride. Livano Bello has raced on one occasion to date, making his debut at Auteuil in France in September, when finishing a staying on third in a hot looking three year old hurdle. If the ground does dry out he will not run, and wait for another day.

Good luck to the connections, A E Tasker, and Mike And Eileen Newbould.
