Lincoln Burrows who was wearing first time cheek pieces, won a competitive handicap at Newcastle on Tuesday afternoon, under another excellent ride from Emma Smith-Chaston. Lincoln Burrows who signified a return to form at Ayr a month ago when finishing third, wasn't too fluent at the last, and then clearly hung left on the run in, but from his current mark of 89, he stayed on well, confirming his liking for heavy ground, and that two miles and six furlongs, and further still is well within his stamina capabilities.
