We have two runners on Saturday, with King Of Unicorns going to Newcastle, where the Tapeta surface is currently riding standard to slow, and over at Chester, where the going is currently good, we run Myboymax.
King Of Unicorns returned at Pontefract 36 days ago after 11 months off the track, where he signified that the ability is still there, with a five lengths fifth finish, in a race where he was entitled to need the run. He has also shown winning form in bumper company on this Tapeta surface, and he should be competitive from this mark of 70. He runs in the 0.75 handicap, over 12 furlongs, with his regular rider Billy Garritty in the saddle.
Myboymax had been out of sorts, until the first time cheek pieces had the desired effect at Musselburgh eight days ago, when over an inadequate 12 furlongs he stayed on in to fifth. This will be his first attempt at two miles, and he should stay the trip, from what is now a very handy rating of 65, a full 8lb below his last winning mark. He goes to post for the 4.52.pm, in a 0-80 handicap, with his regular jockey Aiden Brookes in the saddle.
