JUSTUS MAKES DELAYED RETURN.

We have two declared runners on the artificial Tapeta surface at Southwell on Wednesday evening.

Ring Fenced who has tumbled down the weights in recent times, returns to Southwell 10 days after finishing third from the same mark. Ring Fenced who was staying on that day will appreciate the extra furlong here, and if the first time blinkers that day have the same effect, she may get in the shake up, although stall 12 hasn't done her any favours. Ring Fenced runs at 6.10.pm, in the 0-55 handicap, over 12 furlongs, with her regular rider Aiden Brookes on board.

Justus missed his intended engagement at Pontefract three weeks ago due to the fast ground, but will encounter no such problem here. Justus was a success story last season, winning twice on the flat, and once over hurdles, and leaving the impression that there is more to come under both disciplines. Justus is entitled to need this first run back in 205 days, but he doesn't know how to run a bad race. He runs in the last at 8.40.pm, in the 0-76 handicap over the extended two miles with his regular rider Aiden Brookes in the saddle.
