JUSTUS 9/2 WINNER!!!!!!!

The jumpers have been flying over the past few weeks, and at Pontefract on Tuesday afternoon Justus signified that the flat horses are also in rude health, when winning the prestigious 'Jamaican Flight' handicap, named after the old warrior, who ran an amazing 183 times on the flat and jumps over staying trips.

Justus who is proven on soft ground, showed that he stays forever. After being outpaced from over two out, he found his stride under a well timed ride from our stable apprentice jockey Aiden Brookes, to win going away by three quarters of a length. The handicapper can't go mad, so a rise of 2lb at the most is expected, and there are some nice staying races for Justus to take in over the coming weeks.
