IT'S DURHAM NATIONAL DAY AT SEDGEFIELD.

We send three on the short trip up to Sedgefield on Sunday, where the going is currently described as good.

Mister Bells standout piece of form last season was an easy four and a half lengths success at Catterick back in January, from a 5lb lower mark than now. That race was on soft ground, but he is more than capable on good ground as well. This will be his first start since April, so he is entitled to need it. Mister Bells runs at 3.45.pm, in the 0-110 handicap chase, over three miles and two furlongs, with his regular rider Emma Smith-Chaston in the saddle.

We will be doubly represented in the bumper at 5.30.pm, over the extended two miles. Chica Princesa who is the only filly in the field of 11, makes her racecourse debut with Craig Nicol taking the ride. Chica Princesa who is out of an unraced King's Theatre mare has four siblings who have already seen the racecourse, including the winning Willie Mullins trained mare Northern Belle.

We are also represented in the race by Seeyainthesuninn, who made his debut at Market Rasen back in May when running green, and looking as if the experience will have done him good. Seeyainthesuninn is out of an unraced Supreme Leader mare, and has some above average siblings in his pedigree. He is the 10th offspring of his mare to race, five of which have won 18 races between them. Seeyainthesuninn will be partnered by Josh Thompson, who was also in the saddle at Market Rasen.
