IT'S A BUSY DAY ON MONDAY.

We send five representatives on the short trip to Catterick on Monday afternoon, where the going is currently described as good, good to firm in places.

Elladora is first up at 1.47.pm, in the 0-65 apprentice handicap, over seven furlongs, with her regular rider Aiden Brookes in the saddle. Elladora who has drawn okay in stall eight, has her first start for us over seven furlongs, and on a fast surface, and she is now down to a very attractive mark, which is 7lb below her last winning rating, achieved at Hamilton a year ago.

The American bred three year old Footonthegas will make his seasonal debut at 2.17.pm, in the three year old's only novices stakes, over seven furlongs, with Aiden Brookes who was on board last season, once again taking the ride. Footonthegas showed only a little over six furlongs, and a mile last year, and he will be eligible for a handicap mark after this.

We are doubly represented at 2.47.pm, in the 0-75 handicap, over the extended one mile and seven furlongs. Myboymax has been a tremendous servant for the yard having won on five occasions, all with Aiden Brookes on board, and he will once again take the mount here. Myboymax is probably not the force he was, but he has now slipped to a mark of 14lb below his last winning rating. The ground will hold no fears, but the trip could stretch his stamina if they go a true pace.

Our other runner in the race is Bodygroove, who made an excellent stable debut over hurdles, when finishing second at Carlisle in February, he has since pulled up at Wetherby, having bled from the nose. Bodygroove was an all weather winner for his previous yard, but is yet to prove himself on a fast surface on turf. He will have the assistance of Billy Garritty in the saddle.

Prior to making her stable debut over this course and distance on soft ground, when finishing an excellent third from the same mark as now 19 days ago, Stellarmasterpiece had run only in Poland at Sluzewiec racecourse, All of those races were on a softer surface than now, but if she handles this faster ground then she will be the one to beat. Aiden Brookes who rode last time retains the ride. The race is a 0-55 handicap, over the 12 furlongs.
