First of all a big congratulations to our stable Conditional Jockey Joshua Thompson who was riding his first winner under rules at Newcastle on Wednesday afternoon when making all on Howzat Hiris, who was also registering her first win. Josh who can claim a massive 10lb when riding for his stable has all the talent needed to make a professional jockey, and if he puts 100% effort in to his work, he will definitely make a career for himself as a professional jockey.
Howzat Hiris has knocked on the door on more than one occasion, including posting a good third at Ayr last time, but when taking in to account the quality of the opposition this time, I would suggest that she has put up a personal best in winning by four lengths.
