GREAT BALLINBORIS OUR RUNNER ON WEDNESDAY.
We have one runner at Doncaster, where the going on the chase course is currently described as good to soft, good in places.
Great Ballinboris has obviously had more than his fair share of problems, having at the age of nine, only seen the racecourse on eight occasions to date. He showed ability on his racecourse debut just over three years ago when finishing fourth in a bumper, and then in three subsequent hurdles races, his best run was a sixth. He had wind surgery over the Christmas of 2022, and has since raced on four occasions over fences, with his best effort coming on his chase debut, when finishing third from 15lb higher than now. Great Ballinboris will face five rivals at 5.03.pm, in the 0-100 handicap chase, over the extended two miles and four furlongs, with Conor O'Farrell, who was on board for his penultimate start, back in the saddle.
