We send one runner down to Worcester on Sunday where the going is currently described as good, and they are watering to maintain.
Grand Du Nord was the winner of a Hexham bumper back in 2021, but although he failed to win in any of his 12 hurdles starts, he was placed in six of them. He then missed 11 months through injury, and since returning he has finished down the field in two races over fences. His highest BHA rating has been 110, and now he can race off 88, and he will be wearing a first time tongue tie.
Grand Du Nord goes to post for the 0-100 handicap chase, over two miles and seven furlongs, with Brian Hughes on board for the first time.
Good luck to the connections, Middleham Park & The Cheltenham Trail 7
