We have two runners on Tuesday. At Taunton the ground is currently soft, good to soft in places, and at Market Rasen it is currently good to soft, soft in places.
Mister Bells will make the near 450 miles round trip from Middleham to Taunton, when he takes his chance at 3.35.pm, in the 0-110 handicap chase, over two miles and seven furlongs, with his regular rider Emma Smith-Chaston, who is also making her visit to the track taking the ride. It his Mister Bells owner whose wish it is to have a runner at Taunton, so hopefully Mister Bells can leave his recent below par efforts behind him, and return to the form which saw him win easily at Catterick just over a year ago.
Brickadank makes a quick return to the track, only five days after never being able to get involved at Newcastle. It was in this corresponding race last season that he finally got off the mark at the 37 attempt when beating his stablemate Onenightintown by a head, he then doubled up, also at Market Rasen four weeks later. This time Brickadank will defend his crown from an 8lb higher mark, when he runs at 4.27.pm, in the 0-105 handicap chase, over two miles and three furlongs, with Alice Stevens on board for the first time.
