GERYVILLE ATTEMPTS THE DOUBLE.

enquiries0700

We send three runners up to Carlisle on Monday, where the going is currently described as good to soft, soft in places.

Geryville was winning for the sixth time when decisively seeing off his seven rivals at Wetherby 25 days ago, which has seen his mark climb by 5lb, to a joint career high of 122. That race was over just short of two and a half miles, and the extra four furlongs here will hold no fears, as he is versatile when it comes to distance. Geryville runs at 2.50.pm, in the £18,500, 0-130 handicap chase, over the extended three miles, with Conor O'Farrell retaining the ride.

Trac who was the winner of three races last season, including the £35,000 'Go North One Man Series Final Handicap Chase' at Carlisle in April, has yet to hit form this term in two starts, which has seen his mark drop to just 2lb above that latest success. Trac who acts on a variety of surfaces, but would benefit for any further rain, runs at 4.30.pm, in the 0-110 handicap chase, over two and a half miles, with his regular rider Conor O'Farrell in the saddle.

Singapore Trip gained a deserved success for his consistency last season when winning at Perth in May, for which the handicapper raised him by a harsh looking 6lb. He has yet to fire in two starts this season, but he probably needed the run at Wetherby last time and will strip fitter here. Singapore Trip goes to post for the 0-120 handicap hurdle at 5.05.pm, over two miles and three furlongs, with Brian Hughes, who was on board at Perth, back in the saddle for this.
