FOUR DECLARED ON WEDNESDAY.

We send four to Wetherby on Wednesday, where the going is currently described as soft, good to soft in places.

We will be doubly represented at 3.18.pm, in the 0-110 handicap chase, over two miles and three furlongs. Cornerstone Lad who has been amongst the elite Northern trained hurdlers in recent years is now at the veteran stage, but the handicapper continues to give him a chance, as he finds himself now on a career low mark. He returned from a nine month break at Wetherby 25 days ago, and that will have done him a world of good, and once again he will be partnered by Conor O'Farrell.

Our other representative in the race is Halpha Soleil, who will be having only his fourth start over fences, with Jaimie Hamilton on board for the first time. Halpha Soleil was a dual winner for us over hurdles last season, and now finds himself back on that last winning mark. He hasn't quite hit the same heights over fences yet, but he wouldn't need too much improvement judged on his latest start at Catterick 26 days ago, in order to take a hand here.

We are also doubly represented at 5.0.pm, in the 0-110 mares only handicap hurdle, over the extended two miles and three furlongs. After two bumper runs and three qualifying runs for a handicap mark, Isabel De Clare makes her handicap debut under Joshua Thompson, who has ridden her four times previously. The pick of her form is her hurdles debut over this course and distance on Boxing Day when staying on into fifth, she has since gone close to matching that run on her latest start also at Wetherby 25 days ago. She will have to put up a personal best to take this, but she is very lightly raced.

We are also represented in the race by the ex French Magnolia, who will be partnered by Conor O'Farrell for the first time. Magnolia who was the winner of one of her 16 starts over hurdles in France, has raced on two occasions for us to date, finishing sixth at Kelso in December, and then improving on that with a fifth placed finish at Newcastle just under seven weeks ago. Her mark has now dropped to 100, as she continues to acclimatise and come to hand.
