CONVIVIAL DECLARED FOR CATTERICK ON TUESDAY.

Convivial was never travelling at Hamilton last time, but prior to that her form was progressive, with two solid placed runs at Thirsk in June, and Hamilton in July. The predicted soft surface at Catterick on Tuesday, and the distance of one mile and four furlongs should prove no problem, with Graham Lee retaining the ride, at 2.55.pm.

Mount Nelson-Vino

Owner-Grange Park Racing Xv1

One of the most affordable ways to get into racehorse ownership is by being part of a racing club, and we are very pleased to be training Convivial, one of the horses owned by 'Grange Park Racing,' who are one of the best known and most successful racing clubs in the country. They have had 66 winners to date, since arriving on the scene back in 2011, and always have around a dozen horses in training at any one time.

Convivial's Dam was the Barry Hills trained winning Mare, Vino, who was bred by the late Guy Reed. Her three offspring are all winners, with two of them having found success while being trained here at Oakwood Stables. Mountain Path won a bumper at Wetherby, before being sold on to be trained by Jonjo O'Neil, while Sherry stayed with us for the whole of her racing career, earning a BHA rating of 80.
