We have one runner on Friday, where the going is currently described as good.
Carnival Zain has paid the price for winning on five occasions last season, but slowly the handicappers grip is beginning to relent, as he is now 5lb below his last winning mark, but still 3lb higher than when he won at Ascot over a furlong shorter last season. Carnival Zain hasn't been beaten far in any of his six starts this season, and he should see out the trip on ground he wouldn't want to get much firmer.
He runs at 3.35.pm, in the Lady Amateur Jockeys 0-80 handicap over a mile, with Becky Smith, who was on board for that Ascot success last season, back in the saddle.
