CAN MILLTOWN LILY BACK UP THAT ENCOURAGING DEBUT.

The 50/1 starting price at Beverley four weeks ago tells you about the chance we thought Milltown Lily had on her first start for us since arriving from Ireland a few weeks earlier, but to our surprise and her credit, she performed well above expectations to finish a keeping on fourth up the hill, and going down by just one length.

Milltown Lily has been given plenty of time to recover from that run, and we expect her to take a step forward in her fitness this time. The race is over the same course and distance of 10 furlongs at Beverley, and she races from the same mark of 46. This time though it is a Amateur riders 0-60 handicap at 1.40.pm, with Becky Smith taking over in the saddle.
